For Operations Manager, Barry Looney, West Cork Hotel is all about the people. Barry has dedicated himself to the local community. The hotel has been family run for over 20 years, with guests returning time and time again to experience that famous West Cork hospitality.
John Harrington
John Harrington is our very own Head of Production Operations at West Cork Distillers. He is a dedicated and highly valued member of the team and he couldn’t be more proud of our success. As he shares with us, the culture at our distillery is what he cherishes the most.
Johnny Maloney
Johnny Maloney was born upstairs in his parents’ pub. When the time finally came to take over the family business, he got together with his siblings to transform The Dock Well into a welcoming watering hole for West Cork natives and visitors alike. Publican and professional people person, Johnny tells us why Skibbereen is, and will always be, his home.
Pat Whooley
Pat Whooley has worked at The Old Forge for nearly 50 years and has never lost his passion for the craft. From the early hours of the morning, Pat ventures to The Forge to spend his day welding the most unique pieces. Much like his love for the work, Pat deeply admires the community of West Cork for their strength and unity.
Linda O Sullivan
Linda Kennedy, the wife of the proprietor of O'Sullivans Bar in Crookhaven, began her journey at the establishment at a mere age of 19. A typical day in her life varies from farming to fishing to kitchen work to serving pints. Working in a tight-knit family business has been pivotal for her and she has recognised the importance of this community since a young age.
